Some awards hold particular significance. Those known as the ‘Oscars of sailing’ are among them, as they have been recognising boats every year for over twenty years. And we are talking of yachts that have been thoroughly assessed by experienced journalists following trials conducted in real-world conditions.
It is therefore with a sense of pride and deep gratitude towards the shipyards that have placed their trust in us that we see three of our recent designs honoured this season.
In Europe, the Amel 50.2 and the Allures Horizon 47 are among the nominees for the European Yacht of the Year award, presented by a jury comprising twelve leading European magazines.
Across the Atlantic, the Fountaine Pajot FP 48 is in the running for the title of Best Sailboat, awarded by SAIL magazine, a leading publication in the United States.

Three sailing yachts, three ways of approaching the sea. The Amel 50.2 embodies a certain vision of long-distance cruising. The Allures Horizon 47 epitomises the spirit of long-haul travel, whilst the FP 48 is the new icon of cruising catamarans, combining generous space, light and the joy of sailing.
Behind each of them lies the same meticulous groundwork: long months of consultation, architectural choices designed with the sea in mind, and constant attention to both form and function, from the exterior to the very heart of the interiors.
These nominations are, of course, also a tribute to the teams at Amel Yachts, Allures Yachting and Fountaine Pajot. All of them are long-standing partners with whom we share the same high standards. In mid-October, we will be in Palma alongside them to present to the jury the innovations and stylistic choices that make these yachts so remarkable.
